DEBT RELIEF LAW CENTER
Attorney N. James Turner Can Help
Stop The Harassment!
Notorious debt buyer Cavalry SPV I sued the defendant/consumer, Deborah Brill, in Alachua County, based on an alleged unpaid debt to Citibank, N.A. However, the consumer never lived in Alachua County, Florida, and had no unpaid debts to Citibank, N.A. After being served with the inauthentic lawsuit, the consumer's husband immediately called Cavalry's attorneys, Federated Law Group and explained, by leaving a detailed message, that consumer Brill was not absolutely not responsible for the debt sued upon. No one from Federated Law Group ever returned Mr. Brill's call. Thereafter, the consumer and her husband retained the Debt Relief Law Center to vindicate and protect her rights. Both Cavalry SPV I and their attorneys, Federated Law Group, were sued by Brill under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act alleging that the defendants: (1) sued her in the wrong county, (2) sued her for a debt that she did not owe and (3) furnished false information to the three major credit reporting agencies as to the consumer's address.
